Church Slava and Serbian Flood Fundraiser

Help support the Serbian flood victims.

St. Nikola is collecting for Serbian flood victims daily 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Bring the items to the hall and leave by the already collected items along the south wall). The hall is getting very full. St. Nikola’s annual slava banquet this Sunday will serve as a fundraiser for the flood victims - all proceeds collected will be donated directly to our Serbian Patriarchate. Everyone is invited to attend. 

Bible study - The Book of Romans

The study of the Book of Romans from the Holy Scriptures begins, June 22, 2014 (1:00-3:30 P.M.) and will meet every other Sunday on the following dates: July 6; July 20; August 3; August 17; August 31; September 14.  The Book of Romans is considered to be a masterpiece of St. Paul containing profound theology and if you are interested in participating in this 5 session study,  you must register before the May 31st deadline to receive an Orthodox Study Bible, prayer book and study guide.  An introductory session will be held on Sunday, June 8th 1:30-3:00 P.M. to show how to read the Bible and how to answer the study guide. Registration forms for this study will be found by the tutor who sells the candles.


Studija o Knjizi Rimljanima iz Svetog Pisma počinje, 22 Jun, 2014 (1:00-3:30 P.M.) i sastaće se svake druge nedelje: Jul 6; Jul 20; Avgust 3; Avgust 17; Avgust 31; Septembar 14. U Knjizi Rimljanima se nalazi duboka teologija i ako ste zainteresovani da učestvujete u ovi 5 sesije, morate se registrovati pre 31 Maja da bi dobili pravoslavno Sveto Pismo, molitvenik i vodič za proučavanja. Uvodna sednica biće održana u nedelju, 8 Juna 1:30-3:00 P.M. Da se pokaže kako da se čita Sveto Pismo i kako da se odgovori vodič. Formulari za ovu studiju se nalazi kod tutora de se prodaju sveće.
